AFC post-Finance Additional Employment Creation
A post-finance study revealed that about 669 persons have been hired additionally on AFC financed agro-projects/ business units (on full-time employment terms)
Also about 23,712 persons have been hired so far, on part time basis to work on the land area which is additionally cultivated after AFC financing.
AFC has been able to finance different agro-equipments, agro-processing plants / machineries and agro-related vehicles etc in different parts of the country as per demand of the respective area.
At inception of AFC operations, we started extending financing only to Kabul agro-clients and within a span of about 3 years expanded the agro-clientele to about 7 major cities of the country. So far we have extended our financing activities to Kabul, Kunduz, Jawzjan, Mazar-e-Sharif, Ghazni, Jalalabad and Hirat etc
